Sales Representative

Edmonton

Job Description

The Sales Representative position is responsible for generating sales, negotiating contracts, meeting the sales quota, preparing work proposals and quotations. Reporting to the General Manager the Sales Representative must has a keen aspiration for sales acts as company ambassadors, educators, problem solvers, and so much more!

Fire protection equipment background is not required, we will train an eager Sales Representative in our systems and services. Sales focus would be Edmonton and surrounding areas of Edmonton.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for generating sales in the Edmonton area

  • Follow up on leads

  • Educate customers on Fire Protection systems and requirements

  • Generate your own leads through networking

  • Complete the sales process and all relevant documents

  • Other duties relevant to the position will be assigned as required

Requirements

  • Fire Protection sales experience is advantages but not necessary

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Positive and outgoing attitude

  • Valid Driver's license

You will be paid a fixed monthly salary, therefore your income is guaranteed. However you have the opportunity to earn more as your performance gets better.

Internal Sales Representative

Job Description

The Internal Sales Representative position is responsible for management of sales quotations. This includes creation, submission and follow up of quotations. Reporting to the General Manager the Internal Sales Representative is an independent worker with astute organizational skills. The Internal Sales Representative is a company ambassador educating clients in fire protection and promoting reliable customer service. If this sounds interesting to you, we want to hear from you!

Fire protection equipment background is not required, we will train an eager Internal Sales Representative in our systems and services.

Job Duties

  • Interpret information received from deficiencies and/or new sales into standardized quotes

  • Submit quotations for Management approval

  • Submit approved quotations to customers

  • Follow up quotations with customers

  • Report on progress in Sales meetings

  • General administrative duties

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Positive and outgoing attitude

Fire Alarm Technician
Edmonton

Job Description

We are looking for a Electrician or CFAA certified Fire Alarm Technician to install, connect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, exit signs, and fire extinguishers. Travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive fire alarm inspections and maintenance to include operation, cleaning, maintaining and repairing, surveying and documenting components of electrical distribution system.

  • Install, maintain, repair and operate building electrical systems and components of high-voltage electrical distribution system.

  • May be required to coordinate activities with engineers and contractors. Provide input related to electrical power outages.

  • Perform preventive inspections and maintenance to emergency lighting, exit signs, extinguishers and other related fire protection equipment.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma, Associate's Degree or 2 years college course work in electrical field - Work Experience: at least 2 years job related experience.

  • Language: Fluent in English - Certificate and/or license to work on job related field is a must.

  • This job requires working knowledge of electrical systems at the intermediate level, National Electrical Code, building support/maintenance, electronics, general construction, utilities, equipment installation, safety procedures, mathematics, reading prints, drawings and schematics, operation of machine tools, hand/power tools and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.

  • Attention to detail essential as working with life safety devices.

  • Must be bondable.

  • Drivers license required.

  • CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) certification OR Electrician background is required.

Fire Protection Technician

Overview:
